This week was much more productive than the last.
Monday and Tuesday were spent gathering any outstanding pictures for my sketchbook for the research I had already done, printing them out, and arranging them across double page spreads within the book.
I prefer to work in spreads so that I can jump ahead and leave myself the right amount of space for different topics. I find that when I start struggling to focus on a particular subject, working on another for a while and coming back to it is the best thing for me to do. This strategy allows me to do that and still keep my work organised to satisfy the perfectionist in me.
On Wednesday I went to Wingham Wildlife Park with my best friend Alice, and I brought my camera. I'm hoping to use some of the pictures I took to help me with anatomical studies for different animals. These studies will be very useful when drawing my final pieces.
I spent the next few days editing these pictures, as I had taken so many of them.
On Sunday, I started with my response for Breath of the Wild.

Wow Zoe. An Incredible Photo. I'm Impressed.
