I quite enjoyed this week.

On Monday I finished off my response for Breath of the Wild, which I had started the day before. I do wish that after two days of work, I had been a little happier with the result. I know that I can improve on it and I know how, but I also know that it would probably take me another few days to make those improvements, so I decided to leave it be. It's good enough for what I needed.

On Thursday, I worked on my fashion to dragon test run/experiment/response. I did the traditional sketch for it and the digital colouring in one day. This experiment allowed me to practice translating an outfit into a creature, as well as showing me some areas for improvement when I make my final pieces.

Friday was a lot of fun. I spent a fair amount of time staying in Lincolnshire with my Grandparents over the holiday, so I took the opportunity to head out and visit places.

I was very lucky with the timing of this- there is a large model dragon called Lucy at Lincoln Castle right now that is part of an event. I decided to pay Lucy a visit with my camera.

While I was in the area, I also went to the Usher Gallery. It was quite interesting to see the range of artworks they had on display there, and it gave me a few ideas for how I might choose to present my work during the exhibition at the end of this project. I saw works displayed in a range of ways, including very large formats, showreels, and really tiny formats.
