Hansel and Gretel Re-Imagined

Before they were able to try another piece of the strange house’s wall, the door swung open to reveal a young woman.

This woman was a witch, but not the evil kind you would hear about in scary bedtime stories written to warn people of danger. She was a kind witch, who practiced good magic.

She took Hansel and Gretel in, fed them and gave them a place to sleep. No longer would they go hungry or have to sleep scared in the woods. She loved them and raised them from that moment on.

She actually meant it when she said no harm would come to them here.
