Identity - Photoshoot

I named my doll Ophelia.

Since she was finished, I took her into my back garden on a slightly cloudy day - the best lighting for the photos I wanted to take - to do her final photoshoot.

I framed every shot carefully and took each one multiple times to ensure I had at least one of each in focus.

I was very pleased with the majority of the photos I took, but they all seemed a little dull. I decided that the way to fix that would be Photoshop. I didn't change much, but a small S curve and a little extra brightness made them look perfect. I wanted to make sure I stayed true to the way she looks in real life, however I also wanted her photos to resemble my main reference material of the Fire Emblem game aesthetic and style, so I had to try and get a nice balance between the two. I think that I did a good job with that. The last photo here is my favourite, for I feel the composition and the adjustments really showed that balance perfectly.
