Rotoscoping

When I think rotoscoping, I think of an anime series called Yuri On Ice. This series won an award for its animation the year it was released. The skating scenes were made with rotoscoping- while I double checked that this was true just in case, I was fairly sure beforehand due to just how naturally the characters moved. It would be hard to animate such fast and intricate movements without the aid of rotoscoping. I have linked a clip from the show that I think demonstrates it very well.
