It's hard to believe that the 'mascot for animation' never made any money.

Morph was the first star of Aardman animations, who you will know for bringing us Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Early Man. Morph is a passion project- that only makes it that much more charming.

While large studios with huge amounts of financial backing can produce amazing films, it isn't necessary. If you have an idea, don't be afraid to try it. Chuck Steel: Night of Trampires is a great example- rather than using an expensive studio space or excessive amounts of money, Mike Mort gathered a smaller group of backers and they made the film themselves.

I used to love Morph as a child. I used to watch it on TV. I love Shaun the Sheep. X.
