During the first two weeks of Project 3, I learnt a lot about Fusion 360. I enjoyed this immensely, I haven't been able to stop using it since, even going as far as making personal projects and printing them at home.
The first thing we made to learn the basics was a Maker Coin with our initials on.

Once we'd started to get the hang of it, we made a lamp based on given measurements as a base for our next task.

We also practiced rendering them- we set it up to let the lightbulb emit light at this stage.

We then modelled a range of lampshades to attach to this base. The last of these four is my personal favourite.

We later modelled a table to sit these lamps on. I made a coffee table inspired by the classic imagery of an artist's paint palette.

To add more interest and complexity to our renders, we created an environment for the table to sit within. Since simple walls and a floor would be too plain, I added a skirting board, photo frames and a window for depth.

I chose two different wallpapers and floors for this room. I prefer the first set, the second set feels too cluttered.

To finish off, we took these renders and made Instagram Story style advertisements for the lamps we designed using Adobe Spark.

The lamps look amazing, I agree that the last one is the best. Time to teach me fusion...
