On Monday 27th, my group took part in a photography workshop.
We learnt about lighting and how we can manipulate it to work in different ways.
Sadly, for the majority of the day I was unable to access a camera of any kind due to short supply of equipment. Near the end of the day, the group was all working together to create a scene in the studio with lots of different colours and subjects to focus on, all while changing the lighting around the scene to see how it changed. It was very interesting to see how subtle shifts of the lights could change the images.
Near the end of the day I was able to get my hands on one of the cameras and was finally able to take some pictures of my own.
These were the settings I chose to use to take my pictures.

Some of my peers decided that they wanted to play around within the scene we had created, which definitely made it more interesting and fun.
I absolutely loved the way we used a warm light directed at them from the side - it gave a sunset like glow even though we were indoors and it was during the day.
My favourite parts of these shots are the areas where the shadows are stronger, as they give a very striking contrast to the bright orange highlights of the images.
