Task 4 - Style

I thoroughly enjoyed this task. This was the task that I had the clearest mental image of before I started; it turned out exactly as I had hoped. Huge thanks to Arren White for helping me take these pictures. (I couldn't have done it without you!)

My main concept was a mashup of modern fashion and steampunk style Victorian era fashion. I have always loved playing around with silhouette in character design, and this was no different. Wearing corsets such as these isn't really a socially acceptable norm, but if it was then I absolutely would wear them more often. They give the wearer a strong silhouette that oozes confidence and a strong aura. I'm glad that these images get that feeling across.

Just for fun, I used Lightroom to add some vintage style filters to some of my favourite shots. I love how different the images feel here.
